My Bike Riding Outfit Makes Me Look Like a Jackass

Yes, I know, I look a hot damn mess. And no, I don’t care. I will continue to ride my bike in this outfit. It works for me and I’m grown, so I don’t have to explain anything to you!

I do wonder sometimes what people think when they pass by me in their car though. I imagine they laugh, as Mo did when she drove upon me riding and took the picture below.

That’s okay though, laugh! I’m confident. Bitches.

    • Yes. They are pajama pants. Don’t judge me!!!! They’re comfortable. Hmph.

And I think any movement and physical activity is healthy, especially for someone that’s on computers all day. I mean, I’m a graphic designer and a blogger. If I’m not careful, I’ll freeze in place at a dang keyboard. I wanted an alternative to walking and Zumba and other stuff like that didn’t interest me. I wanted something where I could be alone in my thoughts. The bike was perfect for that. I have no regrets. It was one of my best purchases this year!

      • Well, that is so cool!!!! And I agree. As a writer, I can be glued to my seat for hours at a time. If I didn’t have children, the day would probably pass with me in the same spot! I do a lot of walking.

  1. I’m right there with you about the bike. I want to do physical movement, but HATE walking. SLOW AND BORING. But I loved bike riding as a kid! So it seems like a REALLY good idea. Intimidated when I looked at Trek site and saw all the skinny people on bikes on their site. They have free “bike sizing” which I want to do if I can go and NOT CARE what anyone thinks (including my negative self-talk!)
