Did you see Cheerios commercial above? Well, people on YouTube went crazy and posted a ton of racist comments on it. It got so bad, the company finally disabled the YouTube comments section. Apparently, there are still a lot of people that have an issue with interracial relationships. That’s right…the President of the United States and Halle Berry just aren’t good enough for some people. Go figure.
Anyways, in response to that ignorance, the above video was made. It’s part of a Fine Bros. series that exposes kids, teens, and seniors to viral trends, videos and news stories and then records their reactions. I promise, the reactions these kids have to the Cheerios commercial, and their response to it’s criticisms, will truly warm your heart. Just goes to show: Racism is a learned behavior. It does not have to be that way. We can change the world. Be kind to people and raise your children to be kind.
Even cooler? Kenji America, a director, producer, writer, editor and comic posted the above video on his YouTube page. It’s a parody of the Cheerios commercial that has an excellent twist if I do say so myself!
Hey haters, racists, homophobes, bigots and all of you other hateful people that I can’t think to name right now…guess what? YOU ARE NOT THE MAJORITY. Damn bullies.
